What is this suitable for:
Culvita Potting Soil Special has been developed for all room, balcony, terrace, bedding and perennial plants. This Potting Soil Special is ideally suited for potting and repotting houseplants.
What is not suitable for:
Do not use Culvita Potting Soil Especially for acid-loving plants, such as hododendron, azalea, fern and erica (heather). We recommend using Culvita Planting Soil for Acid-Loving Plants for these plants.
Characteristics:
Culvita Potting Soil Special is composed of particularly high-quality raw materials, such as chunks of peat, peat litter and frozen black peat. The coarser, extra airy composition gives plants even better conditions to optimally develop the root system.

How does EasyCoat work?
The coating of the fertilizer consists of an elastic resin. The release of nutrients is gradual and controlled. After application, the water penetrates through the micropores of the casing. The nutrients dissolve in the water, creating a concentrated solution. Thanks to the specially developed casing, the nutrients are now released in a controlled manner during the specified period. Release of nutrients depends on temperature. When the temperature rises, a plant needs more nutrients. It is then that more nutrients will be released. At an average soil temperature of 15ºC, EasyCoat provides nutrition for a period of 6 months. Various leading nurseries have been experiencing the convenience of Culvita Potgrond Special for years.
Application:
- Moisten the root ball well. If you want to repot a plant in a larger pot or planter, make sure that the new pot is clean. If the pot is unglazed, first soak it thoroughly in water.
- If necessary, place a few potsherds in the bottom hole. It is recommended to place some Culvita Hydro granules as a drainage layer at the bottom of the pot.
- Fill the new pot or planter with the Culvita Potting Soil Special and place the plant in the pot or container without damaging the roots. Water generously but make sure no water remains in the pot. Plants in pots or containers must be watered regularly during the growing and flowering season. Prevent the potting soil from drying out completely.
