This houseplant originates from the tropical regions of Madagascar, where it grows in a warm and humid climate. This makes the Golden Oriole accustomed to a high humidity environment, something that can be mimicked in a domestic environment by misting it regularly.
The Latin name 'Dypsis' is derived from a Greek word meaning 'forest', which refers to the natural habitat of this plant. 'Lutescens' refers to the golden yellow colour of the stems and leaves under certain light conditions, which explains the Dutch name Goudpalm.
Caring for this houseplant is fairly easy, making it a good choice for both novice and experienced plant lovers. It prefers indirect sunlight or shade and needs regular watering to keep the potting soil moist, without water standing in the pot.

It is important to always put a thin layer of hydro grains on the bottom so that the plant does not stand with its feet in the water. The excess water will then be absorbed by the grains.

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will issue a refund within 7 to 15 days.
Postage costs:
If the product is damaged or incorrectly delivered, we will cover the costs of return shipping. In other cases, the return shipping costs are at your expense.
