De Aeschynanthus Twister is een bijzondere plant met lange groene ranken die naar beneden hangen. De bladeren van de plant zijn gekruld, waar hij de naam “Twister” aan dankt. Oorspronkelijk komt de Aeschynanthus uit Maleisië en andere gebieden in Zuidoost-Azië. Hier betekent Aeschynanthus “met bloemen die zich schamen”. Het is niet duidelijk waar deze naam precies vandaan komt, het kan zijn omdat de bloemen zich lang verborgen houden of omdat de bloemen een rode kleur hebben. De bloemen van de plant zijn buisvormig en rood-oranje, waardoor deze erg op lippenstift lijken. De bijnaam van de Aeschynanthus Twister is dan ook wel de “Lippenstiftplant”.VerzorgingDe Aeschynanthus Twister is een plant van tropische oorsprong. Hierdoor geeft hij de voorkeur aan veel licht, maar niet aan de volle zon. Verder is de Lippenstiftplant erg gevoelig voor teveel water. Je kan de plant dus het beste niet te veel water geven, de potgrond mag tussen de gietbeurten door opdrogen. In de winter houdt de plant een soort winterslaap waardoor hij niet bloeit, maar in het voorjaar bloeit hij wel heel makkelijk! Wat ook goed is om te weten is dat de Aeschynanthus Twister niet giftig is. In het regenwoud kan hij wel 3 meter hoog worden, maar in de woonkamer komt hij niet zo ver.FormaatDe plant heeft bij levering een hoogte van 20-30cm, gemeten inclusief de kwekerspot. Types of Returns:
We do not accept returns due to purchase regret. However, we are open to returns of incorrectly delivered items.
Terms for Returns:
You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return.
Conditions for Returns:
The returned products must be in unused condition and must not show any signs of serious damage, especially non-living plants.
Refunds:
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will issue a refund within 7 to 15 days.
Postage costs:
If the product is damaged or incorrectly delivered, we will cover the costs of return shipping. In other cases, the return shipping costs are at your expense.
